About Us

We design and build turnkey laboratory, pilot and technical-scale plants for companies and research institutions looking to safely test, optimize and scale up their processes. AP-Miniplant stands for hands-on engineering, robust manufacturing and integrated automation – from the initial concept to a fully operational system.

Since 1996, we have been delivering custom plant solutions for demanding applications. Our customers benefit from short communication paths, technical clarity throughout the project and a holistic implementation where mechanical engineering, instrumentation and control technology as well as automation are considered from the very beginning.

Turnkey Plant Engineering

Our strength lies in combining equipment design, piping construction, instrumentation and control systems as well as automation. This creates solutions that not only work technically, but also perform reliably in everyday operation.

With more than 250 successfully completed plant projects, we have gained hands-on experience in the planning and implementation of complex small-scale systems. AP-Miniplant develops and builds plants that enable reliable process testing, optimization and scale-up.

Typical Applications

Our plants are used wherever processes need to be precisely controlled, measured and tested under realistic operating conditions – for example in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, environmental technology, energy and hydrogen applications as well as research and development.

Depending on the task, we provide solutions for process development, scale-up, validation or specialized test systems. Every plant is consistently tailored to the project requirements – including process media, pressure and temperature ranges, materials, safety standards and the desired level of automation.

This is How a Project with AP-Miniplant works

A typical project starts with defining the technical requirements and interfaces. Based on this, the engineering phase follows – including system design, instrumentation layout and automation planning. After fabrication and assembly, we thoroughly test the plant before delivery and commissioning. Even after start-up, we continue to support our customers with process optimizations and all questions related to operation.
