Gas, liquid and solid separators are important components in continuous laboratory systems. Separators ensure the precise separation of gases, liquids and solids for reliable analysis, low carryover and separation of products. Gas-Liquid Separators for Small Systems
Our mini gas-liquid separator is usually used in small continuous systems with a low liquid flow rate. It is characterized by its small hold-up volume of <3 ml. The fill level is controlled via two capacitive level switches and a solenoid valve at the liquid outlet, with a throttle valve determining the flow rate. Another upper level switch alerts in the event of a malfunction or insufficient outflow. The pressure is controlled on the gas side.
For high-pressure systems and systems with higher volume flows, we offer individual separator systems that are adapted to the process conditions. AP-Miniplant develops tailor-made solutions for the separation of gas-liquid systems. The separators can be equipped with both level switches and continuous measuring probes. The pressure control takes place in the outflowing line of the gas phase, while the level control is implemented in the liquid phase. In addition, condensers can be integrated into these separators in order to condense process gases in a targeted manner.
Liquid-Liquid Separators
We offer liquid-liquid separators made of glass or stainless steel for the separation of liquid phases. Phase separation can be observed particularly well visually in glass apparatus. Thanks to variable process connections and different sizes, we can implement a wide range of possible process requirements. Our phase separators work according to the principle of gravity separation. The height of the outlet for the heavier phase is adjustable and can be adapted to different densities.
Dust Separator
For processes with a low proportion of fine solid particles, we offer dust separators made of various materials. The dust separator can be quickly separated from the process and easily cleaned thanks to the quick-release fastener.
